Job and Computer Skills Club (For Ignite Career Center Members Only) Mondays @ 9:00 - 10:00 am
Keep your job and computer skills fresh and learn important techniques to help with your job search, including competing applications, preparing for interviews, and adjusting to in-person or remote work.
Cooking Class Mondays @ 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Make your favorite meals (and try new ones) with friends while learning cooking basics, such as gathering ingredients and kitchen tools and good cooking hygiene.
Book Club Wednesdays @ 10:00 - 11:00 am
Help choose interesting books, read aloud together and independently, and make some new friends while learning about symbols in stories.
Game Club Wednesdays @ 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Play fun games with friends online.
Arts & Crafts Club Thursdays @ 10:00 - 11:00 am
Get out your favorite art supplies and draw, paint, or sculpt fun objects or scenes from your imagination.
Movie Night Thursdays @ 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Put on your pajamas, grab a yummy snack, sit in your favorite comfy chair, and watch a great movie with friends.
Fun & Fitness Fridays @ 10:00 - 11:00 am
Do a virtual 5K with your friends while incorporating other fun exercises along the way.
Talent Show & Karaoke Fridays @ 4:00 - 5:00 pm
Show friends your special talents and learn new songs during karaoke.

Jewish Community Services is certified by Maryland’s Developmental Disabilities Administration, Division of Rehabilitation Services, and Behavioral Health Administration to provide community-based and residential Support Services for Individuals with Disabilities.

In addition, through our Ignite Career Center, we provide enhanced employment services that address the needs of individuals with chronic mental health disorders, developmental and cognitive disabilities. Our highly trained and experienced professional staff assist job seekers in determining a career path and acquiring the job readiness skills they need to obtain and maintain employment. Our person-centered approach meets the unique abilities and needs of each individual and are provided in an inclusive community-based setting.
