Be a Fishing Rod for Your Adult Loved One with Disabilities

In this conversation about how to embolden adults with disabilities toward independence and self-advocacy, parents, caregivers, and service providers will:

• Develop strategies to support their adult client/child towards independence

     • Develop and enhance their skills in assisting their client/child in making decisions independently and advocating for oneself (right to self-determination)

     • Assist their client/child with developing insight in promoting independence while maintaining healthy relationships


Social workers and other clinicians attending this program will receive 1.0 Category 1 CEUs.
