These recurring sessions will deepen participants’ clinical practice by utilizing research articles and case studies to enhance core competencies and cultural sensitivity in work with various client populations.
In this training, participants will:
Process material relevant to clinical social work and psychology practice through review and appraisal of current research
Discuss applications of the latest research in clinical practice for evidence-based care in work with individuals, families, groups and organizations
Expand their competency for developing and implementing trauma informed and culturally appropriate interventions that support quality of life
No cost for participants. Attend as many sessions as you want.
Jewish Community Services is approved by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners to sponsor Continuing Education for social workers (psychologists and licensed professional counselors). Jewish Community Services maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
