A conversation for parents, caregivers, and service providers on ways to empower adults with disabilities to increase their independence and ability to advocate for themselves.
This training will help participants:
- Develop strategies to support their adult client or child in navigating a path towards independence
- Enhance their ability to assist their client or child in building skills for independent decision making, self-advocacy, and self-determination
- Coach their client or child in establishing and maintaining healthy relationships and boundaries
