Reducing access to lethal means — especially firearms — can determine whether someone at risk for suicide lives or dies. As a result of this workshop, participants will learn how to identify individuals who could benefit from lethal means counseling, how to work with individuals and families to reduce access to lethal means, how to follow Maryland’s Extreme Risk Protective Order (ERPO) law.
Social workers and other clinicians attending this program will receive 2.0 Category 1 CEUs. Deadline to register is Monday, May 3.
