The Mitchell David Center for Hope and Healing presents
Heartstrings, Our Ties to the Ones We Love A Special Program for Children 6 to 10 Years Old Who Have Lost a Loved One
Facilitated by Donna Kane, MA, CT, JCS Grief Clinician
“The Invisible String” by Patrice Karst is a heartwarming story that reassures children of the unbreakable connections between loved ones, even when they can’t be together.
After we read the story, children will make a string bracelet to remind them of their forever connection to their loved one.
Program and craft supplies are free. Following the program, each family who participates will receive a copy of “The Invisible String”.
Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. Parental supervision is encouraged.
