Support Older Adults

Older adults often need special supports to help them continue living in their community safely and with dignity.  JCS volunteers can make a difference by assisting with grocery shopping and providing companionship for clients of JCS.

Friendly Callers and Visitors

Reduce the social isolation affecting older adults and individuals with disabilities. A friendly, caring conversation by telephone or an in-person visit can brighten a life. English and Russian-speaking volunteers callers are needed.

Become a shopper for older adult clients in the community who are unable to go to the grocery store themselves or accompany elders to the store and help them shop for their groceries. The times are flexible and the help you provide is immeasurable.
