Support Older Adults
Older adults sometimes need a little extra support to help them continue living in their community safely and with dignity. JCS volunteers can make a difference by assisting with grocery shopping and providing companionship.

Friendly Callers and Visitors
Reduce the social isolation affecting older adults and individuals with disabilities. A friendly, caring conversation by telephone or an in-person visit can brighten someone's day. English and Russian-speaking volunteers callers are needed.

Shoppers
Become a shopper for older adult clients in the community who are unable to go to the grocery store themselves or accompany them to the store to help them shop for their groceries. The times are flexible and the help you provide is immeasurable.
