For Adults Whose Sibling Died During Childhood
May 16, 2022
7:00 – 8:00 pm via Zoom
When a child dies, their siblings are often referred to as the “forgotten mourners,” bearing their grief quietly even as they struggle to understand it. Many experience the ripple effects of that trauma throughout their lives, carrying the shadow of the brother or sister they lost with them.
We will share real-life experiences about sibling loss, talk about the lasting impact throughout life, hear about research on this unique type of loss, and explore how responses to our grief as a child affected our healing journeys.
Free and open to the public. Pre-registration required.
